Ralu Services: Storage

RALU Logistika is able to offer a complete integrated logistics service for its customers, so in addition to storage of goods in a controlled temperature regime it offers handling services, commissioning and labelling.

The centre was opened on June 1st 2011 in Zagreb-Žitnjak and consists of four refurbished cold storages covering an area of 954 square meters, equipped with new insulation panels, refrigeration devices and floors in accordance with the specifications and standards required by sanitary and veterinary inspectors. Regime of cooling in each cold storage is between -18 to -24 degrees Celsius, and the total cold storage capacity is 1,208 pallets.

The centre covers an area of 1,400 square meters of completely renovated space, and all new cold storages have shelves; new forklift trucks for the handling of goods operate within the centre, and for faster and easier work with the goods there are three new loading/unloading ramps.

Knowledge and experience of highly skilled and motivated employees ensure the preservation of the quality of goods and cost optimization for the client.

The storage operates in accordance with internationally recognized standards - the quality management system ISO9001: 2009 and HACCP food safety control system based on which we can demonstrate traceability and stability of temperature during storage and transport of goods. Besides, the Centre is licensed for storage of food of animal origin.

In the following period, in line with the business strategy, we are expecting to open a similar number of logistics centres in the region, primarily in Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia.
